Open Question: what are some products for black people with curly hair?

sorry the the race thing buht i really need to know. like my hair is curly buht if i dont have the right products it gets nappy or sometimes gets puffy. and when i use garnier it looks nice for like a couple hours and the its thick and hard. at times my hair is more wavy then curly. im soo confued. helpp!
