Open Question: My Sims Q: Where do you find red crayons? O.O?

Okay, well, I know this may seem completely weird, but I do actually like My Sims for the Wii. One of the sims wants an item with a red crayon essence and I went back and asked it where to find them, but I haven't been able to @_@ Call me a complete noob for coming HERE to ask a question like this, but I want to finish the game. And my brother and I are having a race to see who can get five stars first. The sim I asked said there was a cave in the desert where I could find them, but the only caves I've found in the desert have ghosts on trees and voodoo dolls =.=
