Open Question: why do good, conservative democrats suppor tobama?

i can't understand why anyone who watches the news and tries to keep up on the latest developements, would support obama. he promises to raise taxes, that hurts every body. he wants national health care, that will bankrupt america. he has associated with some shady, corrupt people.he has refused to say what he would to preserve social security. he is cloudy on aboration. he can't give a speech with out someone writting it for him. he clearly is not qualified to be president. i hope folks will not be drawn in by smooth talk, that will not solve any of our problems. forget race, ask for substance.
