Open Question: What (latest) games console would you recommend me buy???

It's mainly between the Xbox and PS3.... as far as I'm concerned... but then... I don't know! How about the Wii??? I'm into RPGs. Final Fantasy inperticular. Adventure games.... like Tomb Raider (for the ps1) and the odd car racing game.... I know that doesn't say much.... but yeah... I spend most my time on RPGS and anything that has action and adventure! But what do you think I should get!?!? I hear good and bad things about both consoles, and they're so expensive, I dont wanna go wrong!!! I know nothing of what games belong to what either. So maybe you can help me out???? (my brother owned an Xbox 360.... though i've not touched it because he moves out before i could haha.... i saw it though, it looks big and bulky... is the PS like that too? I thought these things get smaller and smaller)
