Open Question: Obama supporters…What does he really stand for???

Serious question...I see a lot of people who support Obama and I've asked them why they give him their support, yet I haven't found anyone who can give me specific examples of his policies. Approach this like I am undecided on who to vote for, convince me that Obama is the person for the job. Please don't tell me "we need a black man in office", keep race out of it, "He will do better than Bush or McCain", I didn't ask about them, I want his policies, don't mention "change" or "hope" because those are empty words without supporting facts. I need specific examples on how he will better this country or how he will make it worse. Also, I really don't want to hear about McCain, this is totally about Obama. Anyone up to the task?
