I have never dated a Latin man even though i am Latin with a mix of spanish(from spain both my grandmother 100% spainard),german,french,and a pinch of middleastern blood (persian).I was brought up in an almost entirerly white neighborhood and went to private school where nearly everyone was white save a few asian as well as Hyndi people. I never even met a latin guy or girl my age till college almost and when i did it was not a pleasent expeirence because i did not speak the language,have a slender frame( runner), and new little or nothing of the culture (raised on american food/mainly italian) .I dont see myself as racist because i have many friends of many different races and have dated asian/white/and one hyndi guy just not latin.My one and only Cuban friend keeps saying i am racist against my own kind and betraying my culture?All because when we were talking about marriage she said she wanted to marry a Cuban and i said i would prefer a white or asian guy?
I did not mean to anger my friend its just i dont feel comfortable around latin guys?

I walk everywhere because I live within 30 mins of everywhere I need to go. I always walk on designated walkways and always wait for the green man at the traffic lights to come up before crossing!
This morning I was walking to the shops & I was waiting at a set of traffic lights for the man to go green. When the light went green I proceeded to cross, and a car came racing up out of nowhere turning into the lane I was walking across bumped into me almost knocking me over.
Then he had the nerve to yell out his window to watch out! I just pointed at the green man light, trying to show him that he was in the wrong. He just yelled out f#ck you and gave me the finger and told me to get off the road.
How many people out there know that cars always have to give way to pedestrains, especially if they have a green man at the traffic lights? And how many people has this happened to? Driver or pedestrain?
Imagine if it was school kids, because the particular lights I was at was right near 2 schools! Kids don’t even look once the light goes green, it’s real worry cars just think they are king of the roads!

i thought it was even more exciting than last night’s race, all the way up to and including the “big one” at the end. looked like hendrick domination for the longest time, then gibbs moved in, then fell out, drivers going from the back to the front to the back to the front again, near collisions every pit stop, battles at the front, the middle and the back… plus a free coke zero for everyone on kyle petty!!! and rowdy takes gets his sixth cup win of the year, and his twelfth win across all three series. sweetness. serious sweetness. what did you all think of the race? and why’s it so quiet in here? has everybody been stunned into silence? or is everyone busy trying to log on to cokezero.com to claim their free drink? richard, i agree. i fully expected a battle between gordon, junior, and both of the busch brothers at the end. and then i looked up and junior was back in like 10th on that last restart. i still don’t know how he ended up back there. that was a battle i wanted to see. but i’ll take the race how it came out and be happy (ecstatic) with that…

So I’m a pharmacy tech at 16 and I go to a prestige catholic high school, I live in the suburbs but I work in the ghetto, i carry myself differently then others around my age(not thuggish), and I’m black. And where I’m from thats kinda unusual and I’m getting offending remarks made to me by this older white man that comes to get prescriptions and I’m wondering what I should say back APPROPRIATELY so I wont be rude or out of place but correcting this person and his ignorance.
So the first comment was “Oh you work in the pharmacy oh this is going to be the best job you’ll ever get” (now i’m thinking lol thats what he thinks, your a bumb and you dont really know what my future beholds) So I just blew that comment out my rear and kept moving along.
But then next time in store he overheard me talkin to another customer about how I just got back from Hawaii. And he said what were you doing down there promoting Obama. (now I’m pissed becuz thats uncalled 4/ and I’m a republican)

I’ve seen a lot of people ask this kind of thing about Obama, so I think it’s a fair question. Before everyone jumps down my throat and calls me a racist, I’m not suggesting all Republicans are racist, or that the only possible reason people would choose not to vote for Obama is that they are racist, or that the only possible reason anyone would vote for McCain is because he’s white. The fact is that exit polls indicate race plays a much bigger part in how whites vote in the south and midwest, and those are the areas where the Republicans tend to do very well.

I dont like being black. My childhood fit into every stereotype of a black life. I hate seeing children being treated like 2nd class citizens, constantly getting spanked, baby mamas, children growing up without fathers. Any time a black person becomes successful someone tries to stop it…. I dont know any other race that is as broken as ours. The majority dont even realized that they’re broken. I know that our broken spirit has been passed down by our ancestors & was given to them by white people but at what point do we fix our own broken minds & souls? I know there are some examples of blacks that are positive like obama (although white people raised him to be the way he is) but most of the people out there is just down right embarrassing.. Am i wrong for feeling this way? btw Everything i’m saying is true. I think it’s time for us to stop fooling ourselves

People, I’m so frustrated here. I wasn’t able to watch the race or watch it on the internet. Jeff has one of the BEST cars out there. I’m so proud of that team! They’ve finally come ’round! But, he didn’t win. Led a lot of laps, got spun out, and finished—what??!!! 36th or something!!!! I can’t believe it!!! I’m just so happy that he’s dominant again and showing his usual strengths…What do you think?

a lot of people have saiddance isn’t a sport its soooo easy! well then we show them what we have to do and their like thats easy see? and we tell them no you have to kick your nose and have a straight leg, you have to hold your leg in the air right next to our heads, we have to spin on one foot like 3-5 times without stoping and be spoting something, and we have to memorize routines,work hard, work oout for like 12 hrs., then they say so what? and i say we compete and win things and have state tournaments just like other sports but they say so if i chanlenge you right now thats a sport? so it really pisses me off. so what do you think? some people say dance isn’t a sport but dancers are athletes, like race car driving is a sport but they aren’t athletes, you know that sort of thing.

this doesnt happen in australia (where im from) but i have noticed of late the influx in team riding in europe, particuly england and ireland.
were a given stable (not nameing names) will enter several horses for a race, were they all seem to have a role notibly a pacemaker which sets the race up for a stablemate! 2 examples of this are the queen anne stakes were (haradasun won the race but no thanks to a pace maker which comes from the same stable)
and over night there was a race in ireland were the stable had several enterents including a pace maker and the overall winner, then after the race when the winner was led back in to the mounting yard all the stable jockets come running up to congradulate the winner, which seemed rather odd, as i have never seen that before! so i ask are there team tactics at work here? and should this be allowed? i also want to make mention of the july cup, raced overnight in south africa, what a finish! a dead heat for 1st!
