I will concede that a large number of blacks are voting for Obama. He is the first viable Black candidate in our nations History. If all of the previous Presidents had been Black, and this was the first time a viable White candidate ran for President how many whites would vote for him/her? Do you see the difference between blacks voting for Obama because he is black and rural whites voting for HC because she is white? When we say we need to move beyond race, we are saying that those that are the majority need to do so. Those of us that are black or brown don’t need to look beyond color, because we are the ones with color and the minority in this Country…
