Open Question: How do i train an adult dog.?

I have a 5 yr old Pomerianan cross Malteise. When ever i throw her ball she will race after it but never return it. And in the morning she jumped on me while im asleep so i put her out side thinking she needs to go out, but she will just jump on the outdoor chair, put her head on her paws and stare at me..She will not respond to my call " come " and will only come in if i bounce her tennis ball or get a Smacko. Then she will race around the house bark and try to dodge me! If i leave her in the laundry she will bark and wake everyone up. Its a huge problem because im not getting enough sleep!!!
