I’m a college track distance runner and I think I strained my hip flexor, but I’m not sure. I played dodgeball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, went clubbing and went snowboarding all in one week. I fell really hard on my but during snowboaring and I went for a 10 mile run with hills the next day. My left but cheek was really soar during the run. The next day it hurt really bad and so did my left hip. My coach would kill me if he knew I played all those sports, so I ran the whole week on it, speed work outs and everything and I raced, and for all the slower run and warm-ups, my hip hurt pretty bad. But if I warmed it up really well, and ran fast, then I didn’t really notice it. I saw a trainer and they said I strained my hip flexor, so I’m taking some time off, but I’m not sure if it’s more than that. They didn’t look at it much. Do you think it will go away soon with ice, rest and electric stimulation? Sorry this is sooo long!! Thanks!!!
