Africans, Brazilians, Asians, Indians, ect are all described as "exotic" but white people rarely ever are (except for Angelina Jolie). Also many ethnic race members (I'm not saying all of them) believe Caucasian features are ideal but deny trying to look white. For example: Does it really make sense that you're trying to look Japanese when you lighten your skin, wear blue contacts, get the double eyelid surgery, dye your hair blonde and get a high bridged nose (which is a mainly Caucasian feature)-all of these which are popular in Japan-that you're not trying to look white? Why is it okay to try to imitate white features but then say white people are plain looking? Mixed race people with European genes are scientifically proven to produce the prettiest mixed race offspring (as opposed to say Black/Asian to White/Asian). I'm seriously wondering. Don't go into any racist discussion or anything.
But whites aren't everywhere. They are most Asians than any other race in the world and they are considered exotic.
African-Americans are considered exotic. Tyra Banks is considered exotic.
I know the difference in the meaning between exotic and good looking. Also the word exotic was coined by the Greeks from the word exÅtikos.
For example about Eurasians: http://psychologytoday.com/articles/pto-20051221-000001.html
How would white people have plain looks? They have the most varying features than any other race.
White people aren't considered exotic in Europe. Not in Eastern Asia either.
